Corner of Main Street and High Street, facing North

This photograph was taken from the southwest corner of High Street and Main Street, facing northeast. The approximate coordinates of the photographer are 39.702736342264075, -75.11209529787816.

The brick wall in the distance is the outer structure of the Whitney Glass Factory on Main Street. This structure appears in the Whitney Glassworks Illustration. The car is facing north on Main Street.

The women are on the Whitney Building (also known as the Junior Mechanic's Building) steps, which is the current location of Veteran's Park on the corner of High Street and Main Street. In front of the Whitney Building, a short post is visible to the left of the steps. The post was used to secure horses. Two similar posts are currently located at the front entrance of the Heritage Glass Museum.
