Glassboro Community House

This building was originally used as the American Legion Building on East High Street. In the early 1940s through World War II, this building was used to register local men for the draft. The building opened on September 16th, 1922, and it was used to support former servicemen from World War I. Additionally, the building had offices for the Borough Council and rooms for public events. The building was reportedly built by F. L. Supplee, a local contractor, for $8,700 USD.

In the 1990s through mid- 200s the building was used by the Museum of American History, which is now located in Deptford, NJ.

Today, the building is now used by the Boys & Girls Club for administrative offices. The rear building is used by the Samaritan Center of Glassboro, a food bank. The address is 123 High St E, Glassboro, NJ 08028.
