This postcard shows the Apostolic Holiness Camp Meeting on Sunday, July 21st, 1907. The camp was hosted by Reverend Seth C. Rees, an Evangelist, who gave sermons on the "power of the gospel in the slums." His wife reportedly also spoke at the event. According to the Camden Courier Post, the Apostolic Holiness Camp also featured 200 photographs of girls supposedly rescued from poor living conditions. Reverend Seth C. Rees urged Christians to go into the underserved neighborhoods and rescue the girls that they found there.

The Apostolic Holiness Camp Meetings took place nationwide and returned to Glassboro in the coming years. The 1907 meeting featured in this photograph was reported to draw large crowds that arrived from out of town by train.
