Looking South on State Street

This is a photo of State Street at the intersection of Academy, State, and New Streets. The camera is facing south. On the left is the S. H. Stanger General Store, which is currently the Methodist Church's Methodist Fellowship House. This photograph shows the water fountain purchased and installed by the local Women's Christian Temperance Movement.
