Children at the First United Methodist Church

This photograph was captured in front of the old Methodist church in the early 1970s. The children are standing near the northeast side of the First United Methodist Church in Glassboro, NJ parallel to New Street. The boxes contain a bible, which the children received from the congregation in June after they graduated from the second grade.

The children in the back row (left to right) are: Rick Huges and Tom Brynell. The children in the center row (left to right) are: Ray Reed, Russell Born, Karl Fritz, Philip Von Holtz, Troy Armstrong and Beth-ann Sands. The children in the front row are: Robin Chew, Jimmy Keller, Robbie Housemann and John Brynell.

The building seen in the photograph is the old church which was demolished in 1976.
