Francis Focer, Dealer Advertisement

This item is an advertisement for Francis Focer, who was a dealer of news publications, wall paper, and tobacco products. Focer's business was located in the Odd Fellow's Hall, which was originally located on the corner of High Street and Main Street near the current location of Glassboro's Veteran's Memorial. The Odd Fellow's building was built in 1849 and was several stories tall. In the late 1890s the building was moved several hundred feet north on Main Street (approximate location). We have not confirmed if Focer's business relocated to the Odd Fellow's Hall new location.

This item was originally stored in a photo album with a sticky backing. This adhesive caused the horizontal banding seen in the advertisement.
