Solomon H. Stanger Farm Workers

This is a photo of Solomon H. Stanger's Farm Workers with bushels of peaches. Soloman H. Stanger was a successful entrepreneur who owned several businesses in the Glassboro area. He owned the S. H. Stanger General Store (see below), the Stanger Farm and market, and for a short time owned the Solomon H. Stanger’s Glassworks at the Stanger/Heston/ Olive Works site on Academy Street [1848-1852].

In this photo, Solomon H. Stanger is the sixth man from the left in the front row. C. Fleming Stanger, Solomon's son, is the fifth man from the left in the front row.
